There are several ways you can do this. First, you can pay everything up-front immediately. Second, you can use PPO dental insurance. However, depending on the treatment, such as dental implants, your procedure may not be covered. Third, you can use a Care Credit Dental account. Care Credit is good for all treatments, missing the spots insurance doesn’t reach, such as with dental implant financing.

Care Credit approves patients who are in relatively fair standing, credit-wise. To be approved, patients should have a credit score at least in the mid to low 600s. In general, we recommend Care Credit for patients with a score of 623 or higher. However, in some rare cases, patients have been accepted with scores as low as 600. There are nearly a quarter of a million Care Credit providers in America, including our dental office in Cypress. However, Care Credit isn’t solely useful for affording dental care. You can also use your dental care credit card at Walmart, Sam’s Club, RiteAid, and several other chains.

Not every dentist office offers payment plans. However, at Nu Dentistry Cypress, along with Care Credit Dental, we offer several flexible financing plans to help you afford even major dental procedures. Your treatment coordinator can help you spread out the cost, which you can gradually pay back in smaller installments.

No. Once approved, your Care Credit card won’t expire as long as you maintain good credit standing. However, you should still try to use your card at least once annually to keep your account up and active.

In the absence of dental insurance, or if your insurance doesn't cover your entire treatment cost, there's no need for concern about paying the extra amount all at once. We are prepared to assist you in creating a payment plan for the remaining balance, to be paid in periodic installments. A small initial down-payment is all that's necessary to begin, and we'll stagger the rest of the payments to ensure you can comfortably pay the full amount without feeling overwhelmed or worried.

Of course! You can use your Care Credit card as much or as little as you need to—up to your card’s limit. You can charge as little as $1 if you want to. This leaves you free to pay as much out-of-pocket as you can manage and cover the rest through Care Credit. Care Credit also works similarly with your dental insurance coverage.

For patients over 18 years old, you can apply directly on their website, which only takes a few minutes to complete. You can even fill it out in our office after your treatment. If you’re over 21, you can also apply by phone instead.
