Count on our team to help you regain your beautiful smile with long-lasting dental implants
When you lose a tooth, you don't want to be without one for long. Each of our teeth is essential for properly speaking, eating, smiling, and living our lives. While there are several options for replacing missing teeth, dental implants are widely regarded as the best and most health-conscious option for your smile. Our periodontist team at Nu Dentistry Cypress is committed to restoring your old smile with beautiful and affordable dental implants! A dental implant is made up of three major components: an implant, an abutment, and a crown. The implant is a titanium screw that is surgically implanted into the jawbone and serves as the anchor for your new tooth. The crown is the cap that seals your new tooth, allowing you to regain the appearance and bite of your original tooth. The metal connector piece that holds the artificial tooth together is known as the abutment. When everything is put together, your new and improved tooth will shine just as brightly as your missing one—for a lifetime! Do you have more than one missing tooth? Not a problem! Our dental implants are compatible with both bridges and dentures, allowing you to replace anything from a single tooth to an entire smile in a single visit. Regular bridges and dentures benefit from implant supports, allowing them to last longer and be more stable. It's time to reclaim your smile and self-esteem with beautiful dental implants! To schedule a consultation with our staff, please call our dental office at (832) 930-7747 today.
During the implant process, we want your journey to new teeth to be a no-brainer

Gum disease and tooth extraction can both cause jaw shrinkage over time. A bone graft is required in half of all cases to reinforce the jawbone and provide proper support for the implant.

The titanium implant can be surgically implanted in the jaw once a healthy foundation has been established. It will then fuse with the bone and support the rest of the tooth.
In a process known as osseointegration, the implant screw gradually fuses with and reinforces the jawbone. Depending on the number of implants, this can take four to six months.

We will attach the metal abutment to the implant once you have fully healed. Before the abutment is placed, a small incision is made in the gums that have healed around the screw.
Finally, a custom-made crown will be attached to the abutment to complete your new tooth. A dental bridge or denture can be used instead, depending on your specific needs.

There are several methods for replacing missing teeth. Implants, on the other hand, are the best and healthiest option, with benefits that bridges and dentures cannot match. Without teeth to support it, the underlying jawbone begins to shrink after teeth are extracted. Bridges and dentures can keep remaining teeth from shifting out of place, but they cannot stop bone loss. This can result in facial sagging, more frequent dental issues, and even tooth loss. Dental implants are intended to look and function exactly like natural teeth, roots and all. They can stop post-tooth extraction bone loss in its tracks and keep your jaw and smile healthy by directly embedding themselves in the jaw. Furthermore, because implants do not rely on neighboring teeth for support, your remaining teeth remain untouched and whole. They also have the longest lifespan, easily maintaining peak physical condition for 20 to 35 years. With proper care, titanium implant screws can last a lifetime. Dental implants are also extremely adaptable to your dental requirements. While standard dental implants replace one or two teeth at a time, they are compatible with other dental prosthetics, allowing you to affordably restore the exact number of teeth you require. Bridge and denture implants are also more stable and long-lasting than traditional alternatives. Bridge implants and permanent dentures, like standard implants, can last for decades.

How do you know which implants are right for you? Well you have to start by knowing what types of dental implants are available to you...

A missing tooth can greatly impair your confidence .Anyone who wants to replace a single lost tooth should consider getting an implant. With the use of this cutting-edge technology, a single tooth implant will replicate the appearance, feel, and functionality of your original tooth. With one of Nu Dentistry's single tooth implants, you may restore your smile.

Modern cosmetic dentistry has evolved even farther over time. For those who are missing one or more front teeth, dental implant offers a novel alternative. A front tooth implant won't harm your surrounding teeth like other restorative procedures might. The best thing is that your implant will appear natural-looking.

Implant-supported dentures or snap-on implant teeth are the best treatments for tooth deterioration or missing teeth. Compared to more traditional dentures, these implants are more stable, less likely to slip, and effective at concealing gum tissue loss. Patients wearing conventional dentures risk losing jawbone tissue as well.

With our implant bridges, replacing many teeth has never been simpler. An implant bridge is a terrific option for patients who may not want to replace every tooth with a dental implant. Dental implants are used to secure implant bridges in your mouth, which lessens the stress placed on your jawbone. A durable solution that gives you the appearance, feel, and functioning of your original teeth is an implant bridge.

Dentures with implants from NuDentistry can replace your missing teeth. Implant dentures are fixed in position, as opposed to removable dentures, giving you more self-assurance when you smile, laugh, speak, and chew. They also offer a durable replacement for missing teeth and do not cause any movement when executing routine dental procedures. With implant dentures from our outstanding dentists, you may regain your confidence and smile.
Our dentists are dedicated to ensuring your upcoming implant procedure is a complete success

Dental implants can be customized to a patient's needs. With just one implant, they are able to replace just one tooth, or with All-On-4 dental implants, a full grin.
To give your dental implants a strong and supporting foundation, oral conditions including gum disease should be treated beforehand.

Surgery is required for dental implants, therefore patients must be healthy enough to have sutures and incisions. Smoking, diabetes, and pregnancy can all possibly jeopardize the success of your dental implant.
Jawbone loss, which tooth implants rely on for stability, can be brought on by missing teeth and severe gum disease. However, you can replace the missing tissues and give your new teeth the sturdy foundation they require with a dental bone graft.

It takes time and numerous visits to fully put dental implants safely. Patients may prefer a dental bridge or denture for quicker outcomes, based on their unique requirements. Cavity fillings are a crucial dental procedure used to repair decayed teeth and stop additional damage. This procedure is also used to restore teeth that have become weak over time and to fix teeth that are cracked, chipped, or shattered. At Nu Dentistry, we have a qualified staff of dentists that are adept at filling cavities successfully so you may strengthen your teeth and improve your smile.

As a restoration procedure, crowns and bridges assist patients in regaining the functioning of their teeth. People who have weak, missing, or rotting teeth can benefit from this procedure. In contrast to dental bridges, which are used to replace one or more lost teeth, dental crowns will help your individual teeth look wonderful and regain their functioning.

Does having lost teeth make you feel less confident? Nu Dentistry's dentures are a fantastic option to restore your smile. One of the most common methods for restoring missing teeth is using dentures, which have been in use for many years. Additionally, we strive to make our personalized dentures look as natural as possible. Some dentures can now be firmly attached to your jaw using current technology, giving you better retention and an even more lifelike appearance.

Dental implants can last your entire lifetime as long as you maintain great dental hygiene and diet habits. Once the implant screws fuse with the jaw, they will be just as strong, sturdy, and secure as a natural tooth would. The porcelain crown attached to the implant can last 25 years or more as well.

Yes. Implants are the most natural-looking replacement tooth option. We design your crowns to precisely match the color, size, and shape of your original tooth so you can enjoy your old smile again like new.
3
While implants replace missing teeth by inserting them into the jaw, dental bridges instead use the remaining teeth on either side of the socket as their anchors. Bridges are composed of a false tooth or teeth and two dental crowns on either end. Once the crowns are placed on the neighboring teeth, your new teeth can comfortably and securely rest in the space between. Bridges can replace up to four teeth in a row simultaneously.
4
Your dental implant cost is determined by several variables: the number of teeth replaced, the type of implant (standard or mini), the number of implants, the type of prosthetic, and whether dental grafting is needed. For example, replacing a single tooth will cost less than full-mouth dental implants like All-On-4. Plus, any supplemental treatments, like periodontal care and dental sedation, will have an additional cost.
5
Mini dental implants are exactly what they sound like. These implants use titanium screws that are much smaller than normal. They require less jawbone support, often allowing patients to skip the bone graft step entirely. They also allow for faster healing time and integration. As such, mini implants are a popular option for patients who need full-mouth dental implants.
6
About half of all implant cases require bone grafting. Bone loss can start just six months after extraction, and it is especially rapid within the first year. Patients who wait to start implants or who had a previous bridge or denture will likely have lost enough bone that they will need grafts before starting the implant process.
